1. Which sales these terms cover

These terms apply to every purchase from BuccaneerSalvage Store on this website.

2. Returns — 7 days on most parts

Most new and new-old-stock (NOS) parts sold on this store may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery if all of the following are true:

• You contact us for a return authorization before the 7 days run out.
• The item is unused, uninstalled, and not tested by installing it on a vehicle.
• It is in the original packaging with all hardware, labels, bags, and paperwork that shipped with it.
• It is not in a no-return category below.

Buyer-remorse returns (changed your mind, ordered the wrong part, or do not need it) are subject to a 15% restocking fee on the item price — see §4. Buyer pays return shipping unless we shipped the wrong part or a part that does not match the listing. Refunds go back to the original payment method after we inspect the return. Original outbound shipping is not refunded unless the error was ours.

3. No returns (final sale)

The following are sold as-is, final sale, no returns, no refunds, no exchanges:

• Cores — turbo cores, pump cores, and any item sold for parts or rebuild.
• Opened items — seal broken, bag opened, part pulled from the box, labels peeled, or packaging discarded.
• Used items — anything listed as used, including used equipment (for example a wheelchair) and used tanks or cylinders.
• Installed or attempted-install — bolts started, grease applied, fluids introduced, or any wear from fitting.
• Local-pickup as-is lots — once you leave the yard with the item, it is yours, unless we agree in writing before pickup that a specific unused boxed part may still use the 7-day rule.

4. Restocking fee — 15% on buyer remorse

Buyer remorse is a 15% restocking fee on the item price (the amount you paid for the part, not shipping). That includes changed your mind, ordered the wrong number, or do not need the part. The 15% is deducted from the refund. Buyer still pays return shipping.

No restocking fee if we shipped the wrong part or a part that does not match the listing.

Opened, used, installed, and cores are not returnable (see §3). If we agree in writing to take one of those back anyway, the 15% restocking fee still applies and we may refuse after inspection.

5. How to start a return

1. Contact us via Contact within 7 days of delivery.
2. Include the order/checkout reference, the part, and why you are returning it. Photos help.
3. Wait for written authorization and the return address. Do not ship a return without that authorization — unauthorized packages may be refused.
4. Ship the item packed as well as we sent it. Buyer is responsible until it arrives here.

6. Fitment and descriptions

Part numbers, interchange, and example vehicles on this site are aids. You confirm the part fits your application before you order, open, or install. A part that matches the listed number but not your vehicle is not automatically a free return if you opened or installed it.

NOS parts may show storage wear on boxes. That is not a defect. Cores are untested and sold for parts or rebuild only.

7. Sale terms

Prices are in USD. Checkout and card processing happen off this site. Handling time is 1–2 business days after payment clears; we then ship with the method you chose at checkout, or schedule local pickup. Title and risk pass when the carrier takes the package, or when you take possession at local pickup.

To the extent permitted by Pennsylvania law: cores and used goods are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty of merchantability or fitness. For new/NOS parts, the 7-day unused-return window in §2 is the remedy if you do not want the part. We do not cover labor, towing, rental cars, or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Venue is Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, except where a consumer-protection statute requires otherwise.

We may update this page. The version posted on the date you checkout is the version that applies to that order.
