Not a legal charity until 2023 — and the IRS books show zeros
Ukiri told a defense investigator the foundation was set up in 2016. AAA Hoosier magazine later repeated a “started in 2016” type narrative. INBiz + IRS records do not match that story.
Ukiri Global Foundation Inc (EIN 93-1755201), same shop address 2910 Main St, Anderson, IN 46016-5248:
- Not legally incorporated as an Indiana nonprofit until May 25, 2023 (INBiz Business ID 202305251694548) — incorporators Joseph Ukiri + Christopher Hiday. Domain/brand noise earlier ≠ a legal corporation.
- Not IRS 501(c)(3) until June 1, 2023 (Ruling=202306) — roughly 18 months after the Dec 2021 $120k check to the auto shop
- No money reported to the IRS as a real charity: files 990-N only (e-Postcard band). Public extract: Assets=0, Income=0, Revenue=0. Zero Form 990 filings with real financial schedules — no public tax trail of large programs or tax paid as a funded charity

WARNING: Before May 25, 2023 there was no Indiana nonprofit corporation on file under this name. Before June 1, 2023 it was not a recognized federal 501(c)(3). Anyone sold a multi-year “since 2016” saint story — or asked to “donate” like it was a long-running IRS-clean charity — was sold a legitimacy wrapper that the incorporation date and IRS zeros shred. Do not write checks here because a Facebook page, ReroTV clip, or shop flyer made it look old and clean.
